Teaching Yoga to Teens and Young People.
This training workshop is for school teachers, teaching assistants, parents, children's yoga teachers, yoga teacher and yogis who would like to learn how to share Yoga, Meditation and Wellbeing practices to Children and young people aged 12-18.
With mental health issues on the rise, we need to be supporting young people with the powerful tools of yoga and meditation.
These practices can help them find balance and emotional resilience, develop self love and compassion and most importantly find a sense of peace within their bodies and mind.
We will explore:
- Yoga sequences to help energise and focus
- Mediation and relaxation techniques which aim to soothe and nurture
- Create and share our own ideas
This is workshop does not qualify you as a Teen Yoga teacher, but is an introduction into the foundations of our Children & Teen Yoga Teacher Training course, More details can be found here-
